Boneraiser Minions is a fun, gothic-horror adventure game designed in 8-bit retro fashion. As a Boneraiser, you will walk on graveyards and mausoleums and master the art of necromancy. You will use the bones and souls of your slain enemies to raise and upgrade your undead minions.
In Boneraiser Minions, you won’t play as the good guy. Rather, you are hated and hunted by the Godly heroes. You've been banished by the royals, and your only line of defense will be your army of skellies and deamons that you’ve risen from the dead.
Well-designed and put together
Right off the bat, you will see that the developers of Boneraiser Minions made this game with such passion. Everything is thought through from the animation to the storyline and characterizations of the characters. Even with its early access, the game already received overwhelmingly good reviews from beta players, and when the full version came out, it clearly did not disappoint.
Many players pointed out that it is a fresh take on Vampire Survivors, which is another gothic auto-battler horror game, but with more characters and items that you can customize and more maps that you can explore. The only flaw players have flagged is the difficulty in seeing the difference between the minions. So if you’re not picky when it comes to that, then you will surely love this one.
It also has multiple game modes, giving players the ability to walk on a different path each time. If you want more challenges, you can complete the daily and weekly quests which will also better your standing in the online leaderboard. There’s also more to this game than just collecting bones.
